An ashen, barren landscape, in which the whistle of the wind can be guessed, the cold embrace of the scacha that stops the time and the breath. Severe as only the fields of Castilla know how to be. And in the middle, like a scar, a fence that no longer stops or separates nothing more than our thoughts.

LÃmites III. Ignacio Llamas.
In LÃmites, Ignacio Llamas explores space as a metaphor for talking about our limitations, pain and fear.
Through photographs and volume work, it shows us places that beat, in silence, and that are not one but thousands: because they multiply before the eyes of those who stroll. The artist invites us to go through his scenarios to delve into our own interior, to embrace our limits and question them. After his sculpted landscapes and his photographs there is not a story to tell, but hundreds, which evoke their scenes of silent stillness and abandonment in each one of us.

Limits include pieces from the Soledades series, Cercar al Silencio and VacÃos. In this way the artist proposes a double route: a first journey in time, following its evolution in the last years; And a more intimate and personal when facing our own landscapes.
Simplicity, beauty, spirit
The work of Ignacio Llamas is secretive, evocative and forceful. Poetry, essentiality and concept are united in an exercise of sincerity. Perhaps that is why his photographs and installations establish a certain and emotional communication with the visitor.
