Introspective is a journey without direction, without maps, without destination. Through 9 photos and several manuscripts Sonia Teruel explores loneliness and emotional isolation in an allegedly networked society.

With a subtle and poetic aesthetics, her images show the man dislocated from his physical and social environment. The protagonists of his portraits are shown to the viewer frankly, vulnerable and fragile, stripped of armor. Staring, seem to have decoupled from their physical and social environment.

Her intimate pictures, full of poetry, can reveal the loneliness of urban scenarios and the eternal pursuit of its inhabitants.
